When I was a kid, we always had lemon meringue pie for holidays and get togethers, so it’s no surprise that my favorite non-cookie thing to bake involves meringue. The perfect meringue forms stiff, glossy peaks.
A Pavlova Tart is pretty simple in theory, but can be a spectacular addition to a menu. These pictures are berry Pavs – layers of chocolate drizzled meringue, whipped cream, and berries. I’ve been making a lot of berry Pavs this summer, because fresh Oregon berries are so wonderful.
